Founded in 1923, the School of Civil Engineering (SCE) is one of the earliest established engineering departments of Southeast University (SEU) and the earliest established disciplines of civil engineering in China. SCE features outstanding tradition of mettle, leadership, and innovation.
With the support of all walks of life, generations of SEU civil engineers have persistently dedicated themselves and made remarkable achievements. The development of SCE is following the motto of SEU “striving for perfection”. As a whole, SCE is making continuous contribution to leading the development of major infrastructure construction, serving the country's major development strategies such as China Construction, New-type Urbanization, The Belt and Road, and innovating civil engineering science and technology for human.
