Teaching Resurces
After several decades of development, many famous faculty members emerged in SCE. Professors Jiang Yongsheng and Li Aiqun were named nationally renowned teachers, which is the highest recognition of faculty members in China. Professors Lv Zhitao, Li Aiqun, Zhou Zhihong and Li Qiming won the “outstanding award”; and Professors Qiu Hongxing, Tong Xiaodong, Lu Jinyu and Qiao Ling won the “Baosteel Excellent Teacher Awards”.
SCE has developed many teaching platforms for undergraduate education. Among them are five national education centers and two provincial platforms.

SCE has developed six national quality resource sharing courses and online courses, six National Superior Courses, 13 "National Twelfth Five-Year Plan" textbooks, two National High-Quality textbooks, and five "Jiangsu Provincial Thirteenth Five-Year Plan" textbooks. These courses and textbooks are widely adopted by universities in China.

To meet the needs of education internationalization and nurture talented researchers and outstanding engineers, SCE has launched English instructed courses in different majors. It has also created some courses to improve international students' knowledge of Chinese and paper writing skills.Up to now, there are three English instructed courses for Ph.D. students, 22 for master's students, and four for undergraduate students.
