SCE persists in cultivating talents with lofty morality, inheriting fine traditions, keeping pace with the time, making constant breakthrough and reshaping the talent-cultivation objectives. More than 16,000 students have graduated from SCE, among whom over 600 were awarded a doctorate degree and over 2,200 with master’s degree. A total of 15 alumni have been named academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Chinese Academy of Engineering, as well as academicians of foreign countries. Many of the students have become leading talents in their fields with highlighting patriotism, international view and the ambition of leading the future and thus benefiting the human beings.
